SOUL CURRY

“What exactly is the soul?” you ask :
The soul is our personal essence, our karmic essence, if you accept the expansive idea of karma. It is the star seed we each carry that is beyond the confines of our physical self. It is the light force within our individual being, our personal twinkling! what feeds our soul is what lights us up. Feeding the soul is an individual event.the soul yearns for beauty, art, harmony, stillness, awe, a connection with the cosmos, communion with others, and moments of play. The soul desires to be illuminated with all that makes us feel whole, a part of, and in the flow. The soul revels in joy and merry making; it delights in creative expression. The soul is nurtured by authentic and genuine responses.Hindus believe that the soul is immortal and only the body is subject to birth and death. Hinduism teaches that the soul goes on repeatedly being born and dying; that we are reborn in many physical bodies to embark on a soul journey in order to enjoy worldly pleasures and learn karmic lessons.Souls evolve through five stage of reincarnation:Infant; it learned about physical existence, life and death, and the need for nurturing.Baby :  it learned about society, culture and community, the need for structure, belonging, and playing a role. Young :it learned about free will and self-determination, taking charge of its own destiny, rising to the challenge. Matureit learned about co-existence and interrelatedness, taking responsibility for its relationships, honouring difference and otherness.Old : At last, the soul is ready for the final leg of the journey: the return to unity and the end of reincarnation.The end of reincarnation — “ascension” or “enlightenment” or what have you — does not mean fading out of existence, dissolving into nothingness. Rather, the soul completes its adventure as a unique individual, like a distinctive star in the night sky, a completely realised Self, towards the end of the stage, there is more of an emphasis on teaching rather than simply learning: passing on the lessons learnt, showing others the way. old soul has certain characteristics as a spiritual teacher that stand out from the rest: far-reaching wisdom, great compassion, and little or no attachment to material thingsOld souls become more relaxed, laid back and detached in life..old souls end up pursuing nothing but their own path whilst allowing others to pursue theirs, just perfecting their own abilities, being themselves in life to the best that they can. Many do so through artistic, humanitarian or philosophical endeavours, though for many their greatest form of self-fulfillment can be something as “mundane” as gardening. Work, rest and play all become the same thing.What are old souls ;
Those undergoing the fifth and final stage of reincarnation are known as old souls. In this stage of soul evolvement there is a search for balance and completion, and an urge to pass on the torch before the end of reincarnation. A potential difficulty for old souls is lapsing into apathy, no longer caring about life and the world. As the physical plane begins to lose its allure, the incarnate soul can show signs of being world-weary, even from birth.n fact, depression is the one form of mental illness to which old souls are vulnerable. (Which is not to say that everyone with depression is an old soul, necessarily. It’s just that an old soul who is beginning to see the bigger picture might sometimes feel that ordinary life is a pointless ordeal.)This inner calm and depth is also evident in the old soul’s eyes. Whereas young souls cannot make eye contact for long, and mature souls will do so occasionally, when they’re not too stressed or distracted, old souls tend to make direct eye contact with an unflinching gaze. They are unafraid to look another in the eyes and see into their heart.
Each of these five corresponds to a specific level of development in capability and self-awareness within the individual soul.

A soul “normally” remains with a physical body from its birth to its death. Not all lives include all monads, however. A life that ends in childhood, for example, will pass through the first two monads and then skip to the last two monads.
We often live shortened lives for various reasons – because it is our karma to experience an early death, for example, or because we want to help another soul experience the loss of a child, or simply because of an unplanned accident.
To complete a level of soul growth, however, it is necessary to undergo all seven monads in one life.

Now u ask what is a Soulmate :
Many people think that soul mate means the one you are predestined to be with forever; that a soul mate is your perfect fit. My definition of soul mate is not nearly as romantic.  I think of a soul mate as a person who you do “soul work” with — someone who opens your eyes and life to new things, introduces you to a new side of you.A true soul mate is the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings your “crap” to your attention so you can change and grow for the better. Soul work involves tackling issues, questions, problems and everything else head-on. It means not ignoring the elephant in the room or brushing things under the rug. When you connect with a soul mate, there is the desire to work out your karmic issues in this lifetime and be happy together. If you enter into a romantic relationship with a soul mate in this lifetime, it’s important to do it with an open, loving heart. A soul mate tears down your barriers and awakens you on some level, revealing another layer of you.In , Elizabeth Gilmore writesin EAT PRAY LOVE:
"A soul mate’s purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life…"
Soul mate relationships can sometimes be painful. It’s important to see that whatever pain a soul mate causes you, it is done out of necessity for the growth of your soul.  It’s to open your eyes to realizing that this person is just a reflection back to you of what is inside yourself.

How many types of soul types are there :
There are only seven types of soul. Which is to say, there are seven primary ‘roles in essence’ — seven ways in which the One becomes the many.
There are seven soul types or roles in essence: Kings, Priests, Sages, Scholars, Warriors, Artisans, Servers.
Each has a particular archetypal quality and brings specific abilities or attributes into life.
Soul type does not change from one lifetime to the next. From a soul’s first incarnation to its last, the role in essence remains constant
Kings: commanding leadership,Priests: inspiring vision,Sages: expressive communication,Scholars: knowledge integration,Warriors: forceful action,Artisans: creative ,exploration Servers: selfless service
A King soul is a natural-born leader with an innate sense of power and personal authority,Priest souls seek to serve a higher good by being a source of inspiration to others, Sages excel in entertaining forms of self-expression with natural wit and wisdom,Scholars have a natural talent for observing, recording, analysing and understanding,The Warrior’s specialty is forceful interaction, especially with those who oppose or threaten.Artisans have a natural talent for creative expression, bringing to life new and original ideas,Servers have an innate drive to serve the common good.

Now to answer ur question about ,What is a soul contract :

Simply put, it’s an agreement your soul made before you were born. This ‘agreement’ includes all of the lessons you have chosen to experience in this lifetime as well as the encounters and relationships you agreed to have with other souls. A soul contract includes physical and spiritual experiences that involve karma, your talents, goals and life purpose. It also outlines your struggles, challenges and strengths.
In addition, we agree on who our friends will be, whom we’ll marry, who our children will be, what kind of jobs we’ll have. We agree on what types of experiences we’ll go through and the adversity we’ll endure. You get the idea. All of these contracts are put in place in order for us to have the opportunity to learn and grow on a soul level.Knowing you have a soul contract helps you understand that what you have experienced so far has been chosen by you on a soul level.Being aware of your soul contract opens your eyes to your strengths and helps you fulfill your life purpose. It can also identify any limitations, fears and negative aspects of your life so that you can release them, heal them and live a more fulfilling life.
